“The podcast “Awards Blend” started out fantastic, and it has gotten better with each week, especially since they became “Reel Blend.” It is great to hear their different perspectives on film, with Kevin looking at things often from a technical standpoint (no question), and the other two often looking at things from a story or character perspective. Their unpopular opinions never fail to amaze or baffle me with some of their opinions (I’m looking at you Sean, Forrest Gump is awesome), and it forces me to think critically about my own opinions of those films, as well as some of my own unpopular opinions. Their game where they put a hashtag and then the name of a famous director, actor, writer, etc. at the end of it is one of the most fresh and fun games I’ve heard in a long time! It’s a blast! This is a really fun podcast, and the three hosts have a terrific chemistry among one another. You can tell they just really, really enjoy conversing with each other about movies. Their opinions vary just enough to create some really interesting debates, but it never goes too far, and it’s always in good fun. This is just a bonus, but they have had great and interesting guests on the show as well. I hope that continues! Sean, Jake, and Kevin: you have my ears and my respect. Thanks for a great show, and keep up the great work!
