“The same people hating Joy in these reviews hate her because they don’t like to hear an intelligent and informed person of color delivering facts. They think she needs to stay in her place. These are the same people who hated Obama because they simply couldn’t handle seeing black excellence. The bottom line is haters gonna hate. Joy and Jacque deliver a fun, and mostly lighthearted podcast. It serves as a much needed reprieve from an otherwise dismal political landscape. It’s nice to hear an otherwise serious Joy being more laidback as she discuss pop culture with her girl Jacque. Love them!”
