“I love it when she’s guest-hosting a prime time news show on MSNBC. I love hearing her break down complicated issues and I LOVE IT when she exposes a fallacy for what it is, then calls out the people perpetuating that fallacy! I love all of these things in addition to loving a strong black news anchor who is intelligent, sincere, and honest. But I do not love her dismissal of the #metoo movement as “bad dates,” nor her accidental homophobia. I love Joy Ann Reid and will continue to watch and support her on MSNBC, but I’m unsubscribing.”
