Most exciting new podcast
I have been waiting years for a podcast like this, and finally, my wishes have been fulfilled. The very intelligent and always thoughtful Aaron Powell, formerly of Free Thoughts, has ventured off on his own to start a new podcast, and just in the knick of time. The liberty movement is beginning to fray at the seams as internecine fights erupt and pull the libertarian movement further away from its foundational roots in left/liberal ideology. Based on his first interview, Aaron’s podcast holds exciting promise for steering the liberty movement back on course, by exploring a more capacious and diverse understanding of liberty and freedom. Moreover, now that Aaron is hosting his own podcast, he is able to offer insights into his personal beliefs about various topics, something I’ve been waiting for since his days as a co-host on Free Thoughts. In the debut episode, I was particularly happy to hear him engage with his guest Cory, which cultivated a fruitful discourse on libertarianism’s need to extricate itself from the conservative/fusionist movement. Also, as a patron of the podcast, I would highly recommend folks becoming Patron members. Members get a lot of great perks, such as access to new episodes 2 weeks before they’re released to the public! I know Aaron has more interesting guests in store for future episodes, and I can’t wait to see the new directions the podcast will take.

His honesty is impeccable. He won’t ignore something because it goes against a narrative. It’s great to see a political philosophy podcast be honest, most of them aren’t.

Aaron is fair debater and willing to have good faith conversations with people he disagrees with. This podcast is one of the best outlets for challenging illiberalism in our political culture.

Pluralism pod critiqued anti illegal immigration advocates without making an effort to understand. No consideration of possible legitimate concerns
