There are often the challenges associated beginning relationships or keeping the fires alive in latter stages. There is one issue that transcends all phases of the relationship and that is facing a medical crisis. How a couple is able to partner together and work together when faced with traumatic circumstances is the greatest determinate of their ability to survive the diagnosis and treatment. I have sat with many couples living through diagnosis and been witness to their conflicting feelings that range from shame to strength, fear to hope, anger to resolve. So, how do couples come together when life is breaking them apart? Today we are going to talk with a couple that has walked down that path and have new found wisdom to share
