“if you’re new to the show, please never forget the fact that the host is doing all the work ON HIS OWN, and mostly FOR FREE, excluding a small community of patreon supporters who recognize he deserves to be compensated for the work this show requires. and to everyone who left a bad review during the brief period he implemented ads, go ahead and consider yourself a theif. he deserves to be paid for his work but you think you’re so entitled that you should be allowed to consume it all for free? meanwhile his patreon was readily available as an alternative for only $1 a month. some patreon creators post sponsored content anyway, but stef was offering us a completely ad-free option!!! and you still refused to support the show at the expense of stef. i’m very sorry he has some ridiculous listeners out there, but he remained kind and receptive through it all. i’m upgrading my tier on patreon for sure”
