This Podcast Has Been a Place of Joy in a Really Difficult Year
After this week’s viral news featured Dylan Mulvaney winning Woman of the Year I had to leave a review!! This year for the trans community has been hell and as someone who works in social media & journalism I’ve seen first hand how many podcasts, creators and media companies have turned their backs on the trans community and joined in with the anti-trans rhetoric that we now see daily. Throughout all of this, Centennial World and Infinite Scroll has proved time and time again to be a safe space and I am so grateful for that. It’s unfortunately so rare for a media company to be actively and loudly trans inclusive and so to be able to have a podcast that I can listen to twice a week that where I know I won’t have to listen as my existence is debated brings me so much joy and relief. Tuesdays and Thursdays are now my favourite days of the week. Keep doing what you’re doing, I’m so excited to see where Centennial World and Infinite Scroll go in the future!! Sending all my love, Ash Jayy xx
