Good content but editing leave something to be desired
I enjoyed learning about the content. I found the stories and perspectives interesting and thought provoking. But, some of the editing and production choices were super weird and distracting. In one, Whitney has a conversation with a mosquito to learn about something. There was no need, it was hokey. There’s an episode about congressional testimony with awesome content, super important, but they chose to impose obnoxious fake crowd noises behind it to pretend it was a boxing match. For the whole episode. It was a listening nightmare over some really important audio. It was like listening to a high pitch while try to concentrate on important talking. I’ll keep listening. The stories are good and the perspectives are interesting. I just hope the editing gets better. Sorry guys, I don’t want to be a naysayer but if you hear something say something. This is a podcast for anti-racists. I hope they continue to a season 2. I would love to hear more interviews. In particular I would love it if they had some reparation supporters explain detailed proposals in future episodes. Finally, I’ve got to be real about something: this podcast feels like 50% ads for AT&T. I can only hear the same ad so many times before hating the company. At least mix up the ads, hearing the same one over and over so many times is maddening, I beg of you.

I came here wanting to learn more about reparations, but couldn’t make it through the second episode. The hosts are weirdly hateful towards white people and I don’t understand how that solves anything. Trying to do my leg work as a non POC and this isn’t the place to get it.
