In July 2003, a 33-year-old mother of two was raped and left for dead on a Greater Manchester roadside in a horrific attack. A few weeks later 37-year-old Andrew Malkinson was arrested for the crime and later sentenced to life in jail.
Now, journalist Emily Dugan from The Sunday Times has uncovered a raft of fresh evidence which casts doubt on the verdict and the criminal justice process in the UK.
