Coming soon - Seventeen years: The Andrew Malkinson story
Listen now
Description
In July 2003, a 33-year-old mother of two was raped and left for dead on a Greater Manchester roadside in a horrific attack. A few weeks later 37-year-old Andrew Malkinson was arrested for the crime and later sentenced to life in jail.  Now, journalist Emily Dugan from The Sunday Times has uncovered a raft of fresh evidence which casts doubt on the verdict and the criminal justice process in the UK. The new six-part investigative series begins this Friday, 24th September here on the Reporter podcast.   See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
