“Thank you leaders for attempting to save the country.
I am an American citizen who was introduced to this country when George W. Bush was president. I loved the country and gave up my native citizenship for it. With what I am seeing since the election of trump makes me feel frightened and scared. I feel like I was lied to about a nation. I feel lost, confused and desperate to see what the America I love dearly has become.
For me to see a conscious intellectual group such as the Lincoln Project is a sign that things can change. I support you with my heart and would do anything for you just to make sure that I don’t lie to my three children like I was lied to.
Trump is a stein on this country. It will take time to tell the world that we are the America they knew if he is re-elected.
