Could have been one Radiolab episode
Interesting topic, should have been one 60-minute episode, two tops. There is so much repeated content and filler (the “wicked problem” set up was exhausting, for example) that we ended fast forwarding the last 5 minutes of each episode and the first 5-7 minutes of the following episode. Also, the French interpreter had a very strong accent so we lost 30-40% of what was said. With all of the paid subscriptions now on podcasts, I think they are creating multi-episode series just to try to get people to pay for the rest of the series when the story should have been told in an episode or two.

More reviews of Shark Attacks in Paradise
Very enjoyable series, I feel for the people there, living in an island paradise with natural horrors lurking beneath. Main issue I had was that narrator’s constant chuckling/giggling interrupts the flow. Would be better if his delivery was more serious.
