“It’s tiring to listen to more pro-Russian propaganda when real research and answers on Ukraine, it’s history, and it’s people are out there and instead of trying to understand what Ukrainians want- which is a free and independent Ukraine with it’s own national identity untied to Russia, but somehow Ukrainians are then considered ultra-nationalists for wanting the Ukrainian language as their main language spoken in Ukraine? Doesn’t England want English spoken there? Or Hungarians want Hungarian spoken there? Don’t the French people speak French in their schools?
I am lost on the logic when it comes to Ukrainians that they are somehow ultranationalists and shouldn’t be allowed to want Ukrainian chosen as the national language in Ukraine? Instead they should let Russian, Hungarian, and Romanian populations in their country dictate the language learned in Ukraine’s schools? How does that logic work?
RFK Jr - I am honestly a fan of most of what you are about sharing, but when I heard your “Real History of Ukraine” podcast with someone who is French talking about their (pro-Russian propaganda) perspective, I was just so confused and put off with how you just let his narrative run wild and unchecked. Would you have a Mexican on the show to give you the real history of America? Or an American? This was just another biased opinion from someone who doesn’t really care about Ukraine and it’s people or it’s future.
At least make it a conversation with adding an actual Ukrainian to the mix to speak on the real history of Ukraine! It could be even Ukrainian diaspora in America/England/etc, but someone who grew up learning about Ukraine, what it means to be Ukrainian, and has an understanding of Ukraine’s history, culture, and people.
What you put out there with that podcast episode is outrageous to anyone who has a clue or a care about Ukraine and it’s history. Stop this pro-Russian propaganda agenda. Please do the right thing by the Ukrainian people and do some research through talking with actual Ukrainians about their country. You would also be doing right by the American people listening too with giving them true perspective on this issue with the Russian war from a Ukrainian sharing their knowledge and the real history of their nation.
Please try again. I want to remain a fan of yours.”
