“Their other podcast contains some research, but this one boils down to nothing more than a bunch of contradictory opinions and regurgitated hot takes. They hem and haw, wanting to give every celebrity a pass while trying to both sides every issue big or small. Considering how low the stakes are it’s extremely annoying. I can’t listen anymore. Listening to this show was actually so offputting it made me find even the rich less tolerable and I have since unsubscribed from that too. I prefer shows that stick to a narrative and don’t get derailed by hosts trying to make their “quirky” personalities a central aspect of the show. They aren’t funny or charming enough for that to work. This show isn’t up to wondery’s usual standards.”
