The best personal finance podcast
This is my first podcast review so it’s only fitting that it goes to the original OG’s from rich & REGULAR! This is the podcast that I’ve been waiting for. I first heard Julien and Kiersten on my previously favorite podcast, ChooseFI. I was very excited to hear them because there aren’t many African American couples discussing financial independence. Ever since I heard them on that podcast episode I started following them and reading their website. I was low key bothered I hadn’t found them sooner! As soon as they dropped this podcast I knew I would be a regular listener! This is now THE go-to podcast for me. Kiersten and Julien are extremely relatable and they take a usually taboo topic of money and break it down in a way that is conversational as opposed to confrontational. They don’t judge you for not being as close to FI as they are. They aren’t always talking about 24/7 hustle culture being the only way to attain financial freedom. Another enjoyable aspect about this podcast is that they aren’t sensationalizing their journey. Sometimes you hear a podcast and it sounds like the hosts have never made a financial mistake in their lives. This podcast is candid and gives you the information you need to make better decisions moving forward. Most of all, they get to the psychology of personal finance and why we choose to make decisions and how we can tweak our mindset to get to the greater goal. This podcast is for everyone, regardless of age or demographic. If you’re wondering if financial independence is “for you”, then you need to listen to this podcast. This is the podcast I can share with people to get them acclimated to financial independence and overall success. Also check out their “Money on the Table” video series on YouTube if you want more of this content. Thank you guys for everything you have done for the movement and I will be waiting for that pre-sale for the book next!

More reviews of rich & REGULAR with Kiersten and Julien Saunders
These two are super smart and likeable! I heard them being interviewed about their book on another podcast and thought to myself, “They should have their own podcast!” Turns out they do!

Great tips for those wishing to set goals for their life. It was especially helpful to think of finances in a more holistic way.
