“I’m still giving it a 5 star review but I have to defend the Danes here— 17% of vets suspect that they have treated an animal that was abused in the way you described does not mean that 17% of animals treated seem to have signs of that abuse, it means that in the dozens or hundreds of animals that vet has seen over their practice they suspect at least one has been abused. Saying 17% of Danish pet owners could be abusers is patently absurd and a fundamental misunderstanding of the results of that poll.”
