Thanks, guys
You guys always say on the show that you don’t know how many people listen unless we leave reviews (which is mostly true—services like Podbean give some sort of crude analytics to podcasters who host there, if you really want to know), so I’m leaving a review. Loyal listener for the past year or so. Sports talk people always claim they’re giving you “insider knowledge” if you tune in, but 99% of the time they’re not saying anything that you wouldn’t already know yourself as a fan watching the game. You guys are the only ones I really bother listening to if I want to know the actual nitty gritty, even though it’s clear that you do still hold back some stuff that’s a little harder to say on-air, and for good reason. Your insights on the psychology and dynamics of the players and the organization are really cool to listen to, and it’s why I keep coming back. One more thing—the audio issues you sometimes experience are almost always minor but probably easily fixable! Consistent mic placement relative to the both of you (some podcasts Casey sounds clearly further away from the mic throughout, making Joe more prominent, even though it might only be a matter of inches) is probably the biggest thing. Also, putting on a compressor (if you haven’t already) during post-production might help for the times when the conversation lulls, or Casey mumbles — knowing how he loves it when people bring up his mumbling — or Joe’s voice clips because he gets excited talking about Florida State football. Just will bring the quiets up and the louds down. Anyway, that’s all for now. Thanks again for an awesome listening experience.

More reviews of The Blazers Balcony
Consistently great content from two smart, plugged-in guys. If you like the Blazers (or just basketball) you should give it a listen.

great pod! always keeps me interested throughout the hour. There is a great mix between the 'nitty gritty' information about the Blazers and then the more personal or unique info about players or yourselves. I'm a big Blazers fan for no particular reason being from New Zealand but...Read full review »

Yeah for sure the best podcast on staying up to date. Constantly back and forth from Portland to Australia and always head to this podcast for the best discussion on the Blazers.
