“I just stumbled onto Rachel Hollis this last week and began listening to the audio version of her new book. In short, I was drawn in! She is an incredible storyteller and I was an instant fan/friend. When I discovered this new venture of theirs as a couple, I jumped in! This couple speaks openly and honestly, and are united as a team. They work through the stuff of life with perspectives tried in hard times and are tenaciously going after living lives that are exceptional, not mediocre.
I find it refreshing that they make their relationship a priority.. and although they have their own path, they are hope-filled cheerleaders communicating that no matter where we are in our marriage or relationships...we are ALL capable of choosing personal growth, teamwork and not settling in to resignation of “this is just how it is”. Rachel and Dave have a passion to shine a light on the incredible possibilities created through intentional partnership to live, love, and grow together! After listening to their first two episodes, I am personally encouraged to take steps to revive a 36 year marriage on life-support.
I admire this couple so much, and envision throwing back a vodka/LaCroix beverage on their back patio at this moment, (minus the scorpions and tarantulas), of course. Although we’ve never met and live thousands of miles away, this podcast feels like hanging with good friends talking about life, all of it....and that is what I find both endearing and engaging!
