As long as you aren’t familiar with the stories or the sources they used, it’s probably enjoyable. When they try to psychoanalysis motivations, it goes downhill fast. Finally, just skip the Van Hagar episode. I’m a Roth/Van Halen fan, but they effectively spend half the episode calling Hagar stupid. It would have been more effective to call the episode “Sammy is stupid”, and just sandwich that same sentence between the host shilling his book a couple of times and save us the time.
