Victoria will become the latest Australian jurisdiction to introduce pill testing at music festivals, with Premier Jacinta Allen announcing an 18-month trial due to begin in summer.
Critics of pill testing say it will simply encourage drug use and give users a false sense of security, and won't be the life-saving service the Premier envisages.
