Love Love Love!
As a long time follower of NurturedFirst, I am so so happy for this new show! I personally have zero positive role models in my life to look up to when it comes to parenting as a first time mama. My husband and I both come from broken families and carry a lot of past trauma that we’ve had to process and work through. We have learned SO MUCH about connected parenting and apply it and see results in our overall happiness and we fall asleep every night proud of ourselves that we are doing this hard work of breaking generational cycles and doing our very best for our sweet little girl. Having a show where I can come to every week, and know I’ll be able to apply atleast one tidbit of information to our journey as parents, helps me feel this is always a productive way to spend my time. Thank you for the life changing advice and sharing the knowledge of what is developmentally normal for our children to experience (tantrums, normalizing/accepting all feelings, etc). We are so grateful to have you in our parenting toolbox! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

It’s not just advice about how to be a better parent. Jess and Scott get to the bottom of why we struggle in parenting. They help us take a look at ourselves with compassion and understanding children’s development to help us grow ourselves first so we can help our kids.
