Ahoy there, shipmates!
Way back in July 2021 I joined a D&D club as a total beginner with no idea as to how to actually play the game, so I did the sensible thing and looked for a podcast. I wanted something specifically for newbies to the game, and found this one. The main selling point was that it was run by people who were not actual D&D gamers, so I dived in and gave it a go. I was hooked from the very beginning. It’s not just the gags (of which there are too many to count!). The characters are fun and engaging, the players are a real bunch of characters, the world-building is really well done and James, the DM, puts Matt Mercer to shame worth his NPC voices. Is there any accent he can’t do? Our D&D club sadly didn’t last, but Roll Britannia gave me the confidence to DM an online group of my own. Even if I wasn’t DMing, I would still be listening to this podcast which is actually still number one on my listening list. I’ve nearly completely caught up now and am hoping for many more to come. Please check out third podcast. You will. It regret it! By Palmernator

Very funny. My D&D wisdom is weak. And it stayed that way. Good work.
