Epic undertaking !
Unlike illiad or epic of gilgemesh (which is not such an epic), romance of the three kingdoms was written in recent antiquity. I know that Asians who grew up in Asia love it almost to the point of reverence, however, asians like me who grew up here do not get to participate in such traditions. I’ve always wished there was a way for persons like myself to get into the novel and in my opinion, John is doing a fabulous job! I also really appreciate the fact that all characters and places, and other pertinent items are pronounced correctly. I hate it when I use anglicized annunciations and Asians have no idea what I am talking about. Thanks John!
