“This podcast is a hugely entertaining and informative relation of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, John’s narration is consistently excellent, his asides are always interesting, no attempts at humour fall flat either which is more than can be said for many informational podcasts. He is uniquely poised to give a perspective on the book which is, quite literally, foreign to a western audience. However popular it is, it deserves to be more so. I thank him for his dedication to the work and the effort he has so clearly put into each episode.”
