“Growing up to playing Romance of the three kingdoms II on Snes, I fell in love with the historic tale of the Han dynasty.
I attempted to read the books written by Luo Guanzhong however the mere sight of the challenge awaiting would weaken the knees of anyone; when courage would finally come through, the first pages would quickly attenuate any desire to continue due to the unique writing style that is unbearable to a casual reader such as myself.
My interest never hindered however; one day I fell on this podcast by curiously searching for an easier way to learn this part of history and man am I glad I did!
The narrator adds a human story telling aspect that is not only easily digestible but leaves you wanting more. I look forward to the next episode as soon as it ends.
