Description
This week, on Room 1208 with Mona Lisa she shared with her listeners and viewers how she survived being in an abusive relationship with her first husband and the father to her 4 children for 13 years. She made the decision to speak on Domestic Abuse after hearing an official from a case of a woman that was on trial for killing her husband because of domestic abuse. While driving she was listening to a program and heard a gentleman say, “she did not have to kill her husband, she could have taken the kids and went to a neighbor or family members house.” Mona Lisa shared her struggles with trying to leave her abusive relationship without involving family members and friends. She extended a helping hand to her viewers that are currently living in an abusive relationship. She went on to ask her viewers and listeners to extend a helping hand to anyone that is crying out for help from an abusive relationship.
