A twisting fever dream of deceit!!
I was led to the podcast by the TNT limited series I Am the Night. The series starring Chris Pine and India Eisley is a slow burn compared with Root of Evil. As intriguing as the series may be (and it is) the podcast spares no time in drawing you in to the funhouse mirrored world of the Hodels. At every turn nothing is as it appears. A carnival of distortions and deception. I’m one episode in and totally engrossed. The clincher for me aside from the many layers of mystery and the historical significance is that we are led through the maze via first hand accounts. Hearing Fauna’s lovely voice, her daughters and the enigmatic Tamar keep us grounded to the human side of a very sensational tale.

There are so many themes wrapped up in this story. It is important to share stories like this because they shed light on our existence and may make people aware of things they would not have otherwise known about.

Black dahlia avenger in movie/podcast. Interesting but I hope this is not another far fetched theory. Are we gonna hear about zodiac too?

I haven’t heard this podcast yet but I know it’s going to be awesome. I had to give a rating to go against Drew who gave this a one star because he can’t read.
