“Please, stay out of politics on your feminine energy podcast. If you’d like to make a separate podcast or platform to speak your mind on political issues, I think that’s great. However, I downloaded THIS podcast not for your political POV.
I’m a fan of Rori’s. I’ve purchased and done all her courses and read her ebook. But the last couple episodes I’ve listened to—especially the most recent—have been enough to make me unsubscribe. In this episode (which was supposed to be about taking your man off a pedestal), Rori essentially says that white men and women want to control women’s bodies, and that’s the only reason they’re “pro-life.” She says it has nothing to do with life; it has to do with low self-esteem and controlling women. That is one of the most ignorant things I’ve ever heard. The pro-life movement is majority women, and it’s also an incredibly DIVERSE movement. Stop acting like you know the myriad reasons men and women of all colors fight for life—and many of the most vocal women in the movement have previously been pro choice or had abortions ourselves and been harmed.
Why was this necessary to include in a brief episode about taking a man off a mental pedestal? Unsubscribed.”
