2. Michael Wallis Interview
I loved this interview. I appreciate the way you ask a question and then just let Michael Wallis answer without many interruptions. You let him tell the story! A retired teacher, I used Route 66 to teach my students about American history as part of a unit I called America’s Highways. Route 66 was like a timeline from the ‘20s through the ‘50s. I used a 16-minute clip from the Special Features of “CARS” that included interviews with Michael Wallis and Angel Delgadillo. It supports your Podcast perfectly. In support of Michael Wallis’ statement that Route 66 is internationally famous, I took my family on a road trip across Arizona on/near Route 66. We stopped in Seligman and visited with Angel Delgadillo. What a delight. While there, three separate tour busses stopped at Angel’s souvenir shop. One was full of Europeans, the other two contained Asians! They really are knowledgeable about the Mother Road! Michael Hymas
