Join Ian Croll and Chris Beesley as they discuss the latest news on Amadou Onana’s transfer to Aston Villa and whether the fee is a good deal for Everton.  Also on today’s agenda is the latest transfer news involving the deal to bring Napoli’s Danish international winger, Jesper Lindstrom.  Aston Villa are close to agreeing a deal with Everton over Amadou Onana. Unai Emery’s club is in talks with the Blues over a deal for the midfielder as the club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of next season, when Villa Park will host Champions League football. A move for Onana had been anticipated this summer, with Everton understood to have set a £50m starting point for any bids for the Belgium international. The ECHO understands the deal with Villa is for a figure around that price. Everton FC podcasts from the Liverpool ECHO’s Royal Blue YouTube channel.
