“I can appreciate the hosts and their appreciation of Succession, but they take themselves far too seriously. I’ve listened to more engaging economics podcasts, it’s insufferable! I generally prefer shows like this to cover the episode chronologically and let the discussion unfold that way as it prevents analysis from becoming scattered. So the meandering quality of Roycast does bother me. And I don’t love that they have a different guest nearly every episode. It disrupts.”
