Prof. Simon Critchley is a philosopher and the Hans Jonas Professor of Philosophy at the New School for Social Research in New York. He's the author of numerous books, including Infinitely Demanding: Ethics of Commitment, Politics of Resistance, On Heidegger's Being and Time, Memory Theatre, and Tragedy, the Greeks, and Us (to name a few). Since 2010, Prof. Critchley has moderated The New York Times philosophy series, The Stone, and in 2020, he released Apply-degger, a long-form podcast series on Martin Heidegger's Being and Time.
