Formative, rich, Insightful but….
I have followed John Mark’s teaching from Bridgetown for the last few years and have learned and grown through his books, podcasts and sermons. His wisdom, kindness, humility and intellect are so appreciated. I value his teaching series greatly. That being said, I find the interview/conversational approach of this podcast difficult to listen too. John Mark tends to speak over his guests, trying to add to their thoughts and comments. I find myself cringing a lot and anticipating the next time he interjects his comments over his guests. I would much prefer he ask his questions (which are great!) and then simply be quiet and let the other person respond. It would make the podcast much more palatable and would feel more respectful towards those he’a conversing with.
