Podcast Praise!
High marks for this mode of telling a fascinating true story about another women wronged by the patriarchy. The scandal this story reveals occurred at a time when women like Laurie Bembenek attempted to break through the boundaries set against them and the ways in which they were punished by the patriarchal structures in place: still extremely relevant today. I’m thrilled the book has been made into a podcast, it’s great fun hearing the voice of the author who compassionately and compellingly tells “Bambi’s” story, as well as those that were a part of the drama IRL. I appreciate the host’s friendly, approachable, “let’s get to the bottom of it” style. Looking forward to the next episode, popcorn on the ready!

The podcaster, Vanessa is doing an ok job telling this story, however, it’s pretty biased. Also, the fact the she pronounces words such as hitting or kitten as “hidding” or “kidden” is really difficult to listen to.
