“This is a WI story that I didn’t know, surprising since I’m a lifelong Wisconsinite. Well-told and a fascinating story about a woman who broke the mold and was before her time in many ways.
I must say, I love how whenever her “friend” Judy is brought up it’s always “French-speaking Judy Zass” or whatever the last name is. It’s a nice departure from just being a looks-based identifier, and very unique that to the podcasters, Judy being bilingual is so important that it comes up every time. Perhaps later on “French-speaking Judy Zass” will be pivotal in an escape to Montreal or Paris? Or maybe we just love bilingual baddies from Mke? Love it!”
