I’m confused as to why the narrator decided this was delusional disorder (that Stan believed these delusions) and not a complex way of manipulating those close to him. What did I miss? Why do we assume he believed these stories as opposed to being a charismatic manipulative actor?”

“Ride. Hide. Repeat. is very misleading as there is not a lot of any of those activities shared in this podcast. They moved cities twice. There is an interesting story in this author’s life, but unfortunately she seems to still be under a delusion as to what that story is.”
