Woeful
This is a benign story of an unremarkable childhood. The main premises of the story could be condensed to 5 minutes. The protagonist was a 20 something year old journalist who was incapable of performing basic fact checking on the ridiculous narrative she was fed by her family. That same lack of journalistic ability abounds in this offering.

Interesting story, drawn out, a little woke and in the end just gets boring, predictable and starts to feel embellished with way more detail than anyone could possibly be interested in. Another woe is me CBC reporters story slightly less narcissistic then Anna Marie Tremontes podcast (huge eye roll)

There is not enough here to make this an interesting story past one episode. And even that is debatable. It’s an unremarkable story presented as though remarkable, and another example of a podcast that uses interviews and recorded drive-bys to make it all sound so important. Nope.

Such a good podcast! As always, CBC adds an extra professionalism and intrigue that keeps me drawn in
