Almost exactly what I want
I am very grateful to have a pagan/esoteric/magical podcast to listen to that being said I cannot give it five stars. Sometimes Gordon has amazing guests who really knock it out of the park others not as much. I find it unfortunate that the show often has almost all male voices and almost always white male voices at that. We are missing part of the story which is a shame. Additionally occasionally Gordon does this thing where he interrupts the guest while they are saying something interesting so he can say whatever popped into his head, drives me nuts. He also tends to focus on ideas of magic that are agreeable to him and his feelings on what magic is it ought to be. I’d like to see him challenge himself and the listeners more often. More diversity wouldn’t hurt. That being said, there aren’t a lot of options out there and at least this one isn’t offensive.

Truly magical and knowledgeable, Gordon White drops some otherworldy information. The solo shows are great presentations, the interviews are wonderful explorations. If you like magic, the esoteric, with a little bit of history and philosophy sprinkled in, then this is for you.

But I enjoy him more as a guest than as a host. He's just more interesting than most of his guests.Read full review »
