Drank the invisible coolaid
I used to love this podcast. I was so looking forward to the episode on the Invisibles, but tbh, it lost my subscription with conspirituality, covid denialism, irresponsible pseudo-anarchism (telling Americans to not vote is not anarchism, it’s technically fascist enableism) and other ontological fallacies. I believe he’s gone into... not christian fundamentalism, like were used to, but an identical assumption about metaphor couched in a different symbol set. Using conspiracy to check belief in State disinfo, but not using skepticism to check belief in conspiracy probably leads where all such roads lead: to falsehood. Jumped the shark, mr. White. I would give several episodes a 5 star rating, and this last one so disappointing that i would take it down to 1. Ill split the difference to be fair, at 3. Theres still some pearls of wisdom in here but i recommend having your wits and occams razor firmly clutched in your hand whenever you hear any definite statement. Magicians often become so good at creating illusions, they forget to see through them.

A really great podcast on occult wyrdness. Gordon is anything but dull or dry, and his guests are all insightful and interesting, even if you don’t know or like the subject at hand. Remember kids: being entertaining makes smarts stick!
