“I would encourage you to go back and listen to your podcast and listen for two things, the quality of your audio compared to your guests’ audio and how many times you jump on your guests’ comments to tell your own stories. First, your audio is the quality of a bad AM radio station. You need to invest in better quality microphones. If you want to hear the difference, listen to your guests’ audio quality compared to yours. It sounds like you might be using the mic from your laptop? Second, when you jump on your guests comments to tell your own stories, over and over again while your guests sit there quietly, it sounds a bit narcissistic. I understand it’s your show and you can comment when you want but, interview your guests, let them talk, wrap up the interview and then make your comments when they’re gone.
