Fergis C. was born in 1948 and joined SA in 1988.  He currently has  28 years sobriety with a sobriety date of Jan 16th 1993.  He has been living in the Middle East for the past 22 years.  Among other acts of service, Fergis was instrumental in helping SA get of the ground in Ireland in the nineties.

Tricia S. from Pennsylvania is sober in SA since June 22nd 1992. She identifies as a sexaholic and a relationship addict. Originally joining SA to fix her sexaholic ex-boyfriend it wasn't till a couple of years later that she realized that it was SA that she needed herself. Tricia has served in many service positions and has spoke around the world also. Her current topic of focus is recovery from shame.

Dave H. from Franklin, TN is sober since joining the fellowship on August 1st 1985.  He came in originally while in Rochester, NY as a married but separated man at the age of 33.   He moved to Detroit in January 1986 and attended another S-fellowship until he helped start SA in January 1987.   He divorced in 1987, moving to the Nashville, TN area in 1988 and remained single and sober until remarrying in August 1996.

Sylvia J. is sober since May 10, 1983.  Sylvia is a literal history book of SA, having attended nearly every single conference since SA was founded. She is a sought after member boasting the second longest sobriety in SA.  Sitting with Sylvia was an absolute pleasure and i was blown away by the simplicity of her program

Nicholas S got sober on 12 April 1995, shortly before discovering SA.  He has served at all levels of the fellowship, from Group through to the Board of Trustees and back.  He led the formation of the European and Middle East Region and pioneered what later became the SA Internet Marathon (SIM).  He regularly leads workshops in which SA members complete the 12 Steps in 10 hours.  He has three children plus seven grandchildren and lives in the North of England.

Priscilla is sober since Feb 7th 1993.  At 45 years old after 2 years in therapy the insanity of the addiction struck again after a work colleague contacted her asking her to come over and watch a basketball game.  It didn't end well.   The next day she called her therapist and went in to share.   He suggested she read a book on sexual addiction.  The following week, at his suggestion, she went to her first meeting and the rest is history.

Mitch is 60, and married to his lovely wife, for 38 years.  In recovery, they have raised two daughters. He has worked as a Math teacher for 30 years.  He has been a member of the local Black Catholic Church for 34 years and sings in the gospel choir with his daughter.  He is sober in AA for 41 years and humbly claims 35 years of sobriety in SA rooted in progressive victory over lust and a continuing spiritual awakening.

Mike C., is sober since June 3, 1984.  He is a member of the Chicago St. Teresa/Holy Innocents Wednesday Night Group which has been his home group for over 30 years.  Mike has traveled the world spreading the message of ‘group recovery’ and the importance of the first and the fifth tradition.  Sitting with Mike C and hearing his story and experience was a true pleasure and growing experience for me.

Lee T. is 72 years old and was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He lived and was educated there until the age of 22.  Married in 1970, they are still married today after 50 years.  Lee went to medical school in Nashville and practiced internal medicine until retiring in 2013.  They live in Nashville part time  and in the Smoky Mountains part time.  Lee's SA recovery began in May 1986 when there were only six or seven members of SA in the city of Nashville and surrounding areas.
