“It’s a great show, two funny guys chatting about games. Keeps you updated with current gaming news but most importantly activates early childhood gaming and other memories you didn’t even know you still had. Beautiful, nostalgic, rose tinted, and wholesome. Their positivity is infectious, and the community they’ve created is something truly special. Listening to this show I get to feel passionate about my lifelong interest in video games in a way that no other show has allowed me to feel. You get doses of their mundane everyday lives, their struggles and triumphs. They’re relatable, down to Earth, and without ever having met or spoke to them, they are my friends.
P.S Starfield does have a “walk out” moment, it happens as you exit the mine after creating your character. The music swells, the light beams across your face, and you see the outside world for the first time. A sprawling landscape of foggy mountains invite you to climb them. And with 16 times the detail I’m not sure how you missed it. Lol.”
