Recently, a few cities across the country faced a shortage of banknotes in ATMS, which led to worries among the general populace. This situation was soon resolved but not without certain concerns, it would seem. Shortly after, some ATMs in some cities spewed out fake INR 500 notes that were marked with "Churan Lable" (sic) and 'issued' by the Children's Bank of India.
