“We enjoyed the first episode! The only reason I am not giving it a 5th star is because some of the writing, in trying to aim at children, actually ends up talking down to them. I’d encourage the writers to just tell the story in a gripping and beautiful way. Since this is actually intended for children 6 and up, I hope it can avoid pedantic or cartoonish style in the future. The best children’s stories engage and entertain them by pulling them up. (I.e. Narnia— 6 year olds are capable of understanding and loving that level of narrative and language.) I really hope this is constructive feedback. Again, we really enjoyed listening to the first episode as a family! (W/ 4 kids, 2-8)”
