“This one really took a swing at speculative fiction - I mean, ALL of it (!!!) - and missed in a truly momentous way. You’ll be swept off your feet by:
— bad guy husband/lead politician! Pieced together from the most obvious and worn out - yet least entertaining - tropes!
— different factions/nations, including… you guessed it: Pirate Nation!! On mars! A nation of pirates!
— center stage yet indistinguishable female protagonist! I can’t recall anything about her other than: Strong! Will win! Was intimately involved with cookie cutter villain HUSBAND yet is portrayed as his opposite in every way (???)!
Rough around the edges, but overall a great show…
