Not what I expected, not informative at all.
I was recommended this podcast based on what I already listen to. I started with the most recent police episode talking about the Toronto star report how the RCMP had often violated charter rights. I walked away from this episode never wanting to listen to another one. The first half of the episode talks about the article but then uses instances from the United States as to why we need to police reform in Canada. Throughout the episode the hosts blend the Canadian and American experience to a point where they end up arguing for policy changes purely based on American examples. Maybe it’s because this is the first episode I’ve listen to but it’s almost like they think listeners should be already aware of the examples don’t provide. My impression is this podcast is mostly about discussing activism and not actually about informing listeners. Audio quality was strange at the beginning but I assume it’s because (as they state in the first few minutes) it’s the first time they have recorded in a studio together. Was hoping for a CanadaLand style podcast, but was just disappointed

It is painful to listen to...you can hear the commentators clumsily ad lib through a litany...Read full review »

At least one of these women is a despicable human being. Not sure about the other because I didn’t listen.

So deeply grateful to have this podcast and the commentaries from two people as brilliant as Sandy and Nora. Their way of speaking truth in the face of such absolute hate should inspire all of us.
