“Saturday Morning Rewind. Remember how Saturday mornings meant something, like watching old school cartoons, eating cereal and playing cartridge-based video games?
What if I said that there was someone who is keeping the legacy of that past time alive in some form? Well, that someone is Tim Nydell and through this podcast, he’s gotten to interview so many notable people (featuring the likes of some very famous voice actors you might recognize) who have contributed to the childhood fanfare of the 1980s and 1990s. Seriously, look at the episode list and jump right in to listen. The quality and quantity of the episodes content-wise are worth checking out.
With a poignant premise and a personable interview style, as well as discussions on cartoon topics and retro video games, I highly recommend listening to Saturday Morning Rewind - not just to the old school folks who grew up on CRT TVs, VHS’s and game carts but also to younger listeners with a curiosity to discover retro shows and games for the first time through this podcast. If you belong in either group and are reading this for the first time or haven’t yet listened, just do it!”
