“As someone who absolutely hates horror movies - but at the same time is curious about what goes on in them, this podcast is great to listen to! They don’t ALWAYS DO HORROR, but it is what you’re going to get mostly, and that’s not a bad thing.
I find myself liking this show more and more as I drive long hours (truck driver) and listen to all the hosts carry on about the different movies they bring to to the audience. It’s especially nice, because too many reviewers on YouTube show the graphic parts while doing a review of the movie... if I was into that sort of thing, I’d be watching the movie instead of listening to a talking head about it!
Everyone is so lovely, and they all bring very different perspectives to each movie - and it’s always surprising at the end to hear who loves/hates what. Keep up the great work guys!
P.s. Its nice to know that all of you guys felt like Return to Oz was Nightmare Fuel in it’s purest form... watched that when I was a kid thinking it’d be like the first... had nightmares for days after Mombi took off her head... I was DONE!”
