“I must have somehow heard an episode of this podcast and it was interesting enough to hit the follow button.
So now it shows up in my feed, sometimes I can listen and sometimes it says I need a subscription.
I work 10-12 hours a day. I listen to podcasts all day to pass the time.
If I paid $5 a month for each podcast I would be broke.
I agree that providers of quality entertainment deserve to be compensated, full stop. But $5 a month to every podcast is exorbitant.
As podcasters you need to figure out a method of compensation that is workable for creators and affordable for listeners.
This podcast is worth listening to,as are hundreds of others. You Ned to sell ads not demand extreme subscription fees.”
