“The writing of some stories are bad, or at most OK. The narration of the stories are OK. I can hear the ‘non-planned’ pausing or mumbling at the beginning, middle or end of words, (maybe they don’t have time to do retakes or edits) therefore you misrepresent the accurate rhythm/flow of the writing. I listened to a story just now, that I would say had a ton of potential, but fell short because of the way it was written. I wouldn’t ever write “Ok, now where was I, oh yeah...” -even though the deviation of the writing wasn’t a deviation at all, just an enhancement of the situation... And it was good!!! But then the next line was “Ok, where was I?” And that enhancement lost all of its inertia. :( These must be my pet-peeves, alone, considering everyone else loves this podcast. Sorry for knocking it, but I just can’t even.”
