“I’m taking one star off just for the stupid new intro music. Why is it so dramatic. Bruh. You’re not a secret superhero spy ur an old and dorky scientist and presenter. It literally makes me embarrassed to play it out loud now. The old chillhop/lofi one was way better.
Other than that it’s a good podcast. He is a good presenter. Although I reckon some of his guests, he ought to push them harder. For example, on the episode on women’s sport, it was kind of just the guest rambling and him agreeing with her. I reckon he should’ve had more than one guest on, or made the episode shorter, because definitely her experience was valuable to hear, but she hasn’t much of a scientific background so they kind of ran out of content and it kind of just became her repeating her feelings.
Another thought is I would like to hear an episode about women’s health just because it is such an underfunded area by disability-adjusted life years and so many people (even women ourselves!!!) have so many misunderstandings and myths around it.”
